As you wander through thick native brush on our 14 acre hiking trail with birding stations, and our private 27 acre prairie with its own pond, you see a wide variety of tropical birds like Green Jays, Buff-Bellied Hummingbirds, Great Kiskadees, Ringed Kingfishers, Altamira Orioles, and Roseate Spoonbills. And within a short 15 minute drive you can visit the Rio Grande Valley's largest refuge, the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge.
